I don't have any expectations for Apple to deliver 65 million iPhones this quarter. Comps vs the December quarter don't have any particular significance. I think Apple would be lucky to simply match December levels around 50 million.

All the drama sets up Apple for a bigger move after earnings when they beat the numbers this quarter.

If The WSJ is Wrong About 'Weak iPhone 5 Demand," Will It Apologize to Apple?
Probably not.

I wonder if we could have a website that keeps track of the idiot reports and makes them public. I have seen something on Kramer keeping track of his multiple calls so that he can always claim he was right on such and such date.

In college, we had a little booklet that someone put together that rated all of the professors. It helped you choose what class to take.

There is an ESPN report who made a particularly negative and obnoxious claim about my University's particular sports team (back in '99?). It turned out totally wrong and would have been swept under the rug. But, there is a message board who won't let him forget it and it still comes up once in a while.

If someone wanted to make the web site, you would have a number of contributors here to help track some of these idiot web journalists that have no accountability. They post anything non Apple, even if it is wrong or ill-informed, just to get hits. Maybe their name on a website for all to see would make a small dent in the problem?
