Do your own research.

Just check the crime and murder stats for US cities. Gun control = more murder and more crime.

Check Mexico.

Check the crime rate in the UK. It went up after gun control.

Check Australia. The same.

If I were to guess, he gets his numbers from the NRA. They used to have a web page with some statistics on rising homicide rates in the wake of gun control. The numbers were wrong.
