Hi Madharry
I'm not responding to make you angry, but just to give you another viewpoint.

From the slow-mo replay of that particular play, it looks to me as if the running back (Ridley) lowered his helmet to meet the tackler's (Pollard) helmet. I'd have a hard time blaming that on Pollard.
I was very bothered by that collision as well, but I really couldn't blame it on the tackler after watching the replay.

Here's a replay to watch. It's still disturbing to watch.

Madharry, I'm not a fan of either team - but when I first saw the hit I thought it was the defender that was more likely to get knocked out. It seemed the running back put his head down and hit him square.
