I have no problem with it. 58% of this city is obese. If it reduces that, I'm fine with it.
After five weeks of exercising every weekday and watching what I eat (most of the time) and not seeing any difference on the scale or on my waistline, I've decided to go cold turkey on my one remaining weakness, which is soda.

Yet even then, I'm still against the ban. It's really stupid and just another "nanny state" law. People have to make their OWN decisions on whether to lose weight or not. They can't go to Nanny Bloomberg and say, "Please help us, Mayor, because we can't help ourselves."

I cannot imagine being written a violation by the NYPD for drinking a picture of Pepsi at my table while you sit at the next table drinking your picture of beer.
