Steve, you're still arguing against a straw man. I too don't want said gun registry to be made public. That's just trying to shame existing gun owners, which I'm against even if some of them deserve it. If you're arguing that it's going to be made public one way or another, then you could say the same thing about credit card numbers, social security numbers, and home addresses. They're all going to be made public one way or another, so why let anyone keep a record of them? Tenchusatsu
