Key or combination. Sometimes one has to make decisions based on having only some of the information. What I said makes sense. The police and media would have jumped all over the place and be calling for mandatory home inspections of firearm security if they knew Adam say had free access. Everything I've read about his mother being afraid of him and was working on having him involuntarily committed tells me there is no way those guns weren't securely locked up. If I was her, I would have made sure they were out of the house and he didn't know where they were. She apparantly believed in her security system. Adam was a smart kid and would find ways to get the keys or combination or find a way to break into the cabinets or safe.
