You know, once there was a tool named Gupta. Fantastic tool, but dissapeared/ bancrupted.

I wonder how many programmers out there are under the same impression.

May this new millenium bring better times for Centura, and hello
to you Veiko. You say<For me downgrade CNTR to buy is good news. This
means, that CNTR is good as long term investment and that I want.> You do mean upgrade,yes?.--The developer 2000,that's an Oracle
product--still think ORCL needs CNTR.Their stock is itself showing weakness, lately.
My nephew is a research/developer at Sybase,I will ask him about
these tools,however I don't know I will understand his answers.Max

Veiko: For your information, Gupta application development tools still exist. The company, Gupta changed its name to Centura Software last year, and is now traded on the NASDAQ as CNTR.

You can check the Centura web site www.centurasoft.com for more information on the tools, SQL Windows or Centura Team Developer (the 32-bit version of SQL Windows) and information on where to buy both the application development tools and SQLBase in Europe and the U.S.
