Yes, it did. The Bay area has been an expensive place to live since the 1980s..........one of the most expensive areas of the country.

For someone who does not care about Bay Area, you sound like you think it's the best thing since the sliced bread.

I wonder how much greater the spread between San Francisco versus say Stockton or Sacramento burbs are today versus twenty years ago? Or Beacon Hill Boston versus a far out take your pick exhurb to the city?
