I consider none of the stocks I mentioned overvalued, but except for TOT, I don't consider them undervalued either. My partial TOT sale is partly an asset allocation move, since I recently bumped up my energy exposure with buys of DVN and APA and some COSWF, I didn't want to too much exposure to the sector overall, so I decided to trim TOT, which has come back somewhat and often stalled around the mid fifties. I am kind of interested in BP again as they have shed assets after the Gulf disaster. BP is a fairly low cost operator and should do OK, after they have worked through their restructuring. I don't own it, but if we get a market retreat, I am most likely a buyer. I have bought some stocks too, but most are illiquid buggers that I don't want to mention. I have enough confidence in one of those related to real estate (an OTC stock) that I bumped it up to a bit more than 10% holding. My other large holding is KSB3.DE, which i think is around 7% or so. I have another pink sheeter in my crosshairs that I would like to bump to 5% as well, if I find a seller. I bought into these issues after running a screen and going through a hundred or more stocks over Christmas break one by one. i found a handful that seem intriguing and another half dozen that are quite interesting. They are sometimes very hard to buy and most don't file, so it is hard to get info. But that is imo how inefficiencies exist and research can make a difference. and I found that in most cases, these stock don't really care much abut the general market (very low beta) which makes it even more interesting in the current environment where most stocks have run up quite a bit.
