I think we'd need to look at gross margins at the same point in the iPhone 4 life cycle. The assumption is that gross margins will return to trend as the product portfolio matures.

I'm thinking they were better, but don't have the data. And if they introduce new iPhone mid year the line won't mature much.

After the last earnings report I kept saying "what are we missing wrt GM%?". Maybe Mr Cook is too friendly with his supply chain? Don't know.
