I'm surprised they sold as many as they did considering they announced new product in October and made it impossible to purchase that product until late November to Mid December.
I wonder if that doesn't give us indirect visibility into the product mix. People seem to dig Minis and laptops (and understandably so)...

There was no way Apple was going to hit the Mac numbers with an ancient Mac Pro
Mac Pro sales are a rounding error for Apple, they matter little to Mac revenue numbers these days.

If they were that important to Apple's bottom line, Mac Pros would have been updated long ago, and kept up-to-date with refreshes at least once a year.
