I'm being silly to insist on including ALL of the country's obligations in its debt? I'm being silly to insist on applying the same accounting standards we require for all publicly held corporations because it has been determined that to do otherwise does not clearly reflect income and results of operations? The ignorant conveniently ignore most of the nation's debt. I don't because I understand it.
