To me it seems like CM is going to blink. Or Cook's being strung along.

Then you don't know Chinese culture. CM is not going to blink first. One thing I agree that this is a game of chicken. Apple is entering Chinese market where the govt in on the side of CM. Apple needs CM more than the other way around. As much as The Chinese dislike Japan, she uses a lot of Japanese products. Most of the buses in China are made by Hyundai. I was there a few years ago and was amazed how many stores carry Japanese goods. Samsung is knocking CM and the train might leave without iPhones.
