I always find the liberal false equivalencies entertaining.

Edwards wasn't a bad guy if Newt wasn't. Never mind that Edwards WOULD HAVE BECOME PRESIDENT, if he could have, which would have been a disaster for the country (multiple the Lewinsky affair by 10 and just think of it).

Newt didn't do that. In fact, no Republican politician in modern times has done it.

Republicans have plenty of faults, but to suggest for a moment that Democrats aren't far more problematic when it comes to political scandals of all kinds -- from taking money (see: money in freezer) to the sheer stupidity of "Guam might capsize".

It was incredibly irresponsible of him and I regret supporting him in the 2008 primary.
