First of all, we get these announcements CONSTANTLY and they often don't materialize. But the state concessions in this instance were extremely sensible imo. 500 jobs at extremely good pay for this state will make it worthwhile. I believe this was competently negotiated. Study after study has shown that giving concessions to industry in order to grow the economy of a state/region is an ineffective way to do so. Not surprisingly, in those states that provide numerous concessions, poverty levels tend to be higher and educational levels lower than other states.
