Humans as a species have negated some aspects of natural selection by being able to manipulate its environment to a limited extent. Imagine if deer were able to kill hunters (predators) at will and also plant crops for food supply.

Wow! That's interesting! My daughter and I met tonight at Olive Garden for our monthly Father - Daughter dinner. I use these social events, since I have a captured audience, to discuss social, financial and political issues.

That was the topic of discussion tonight! ... Ha!

Of course I told her I now owned shares in Olive Garden, so live it up.
