>> Dude...there are thousands of cases under way on any given week...you expect Obama to intervene in court cases?

I'm not talking about intervening in the case. He could easily shut down the DEA request with a phone call. If he has any respect for the Constitution at all he would do that.

Apparently you don't see this as being as outrageous as I do.

>> sounds crazy to me..

The Bill of Rights is under attack, and never more so than it has been the last four years. Last week the Court of Appeals decided 2:1 that a person couldn't be detained and interrogated for exercising his free speech right. 2:1? The dissent essentially said, "This guy exercising his free speech rights at the airport caused other people to become anxious, so he SHOULD have been detained." Really.

We have Obama attacking the right to bear arms. We have his administration launching these fundamental attacks on the right of privacy and the 4th Amendment. The 4th Amendment has been watered down to the extent cops and others can conduct unreasonable searches and seizures without warrants and without cause.

Maybe it sounds crazy to you but it sounds downright idiotic to me to stand by as fundamental protections against government domination are taken away day by day.
