<<<<<We've had this debate so many times even the worn tires or worn>>>>

Not entirely sure what that sentence means, but I can guess. As to having this argument before; - that's wrong. I clearly was referring to but one point made by Krugman to which I copied and made my argument clear by even bolding that which I argued against. In fact I was in general agreement with Krugmans thinking in this piece before he goes off the deep end and makes that purely bull shit conclusion at the end of the piece. Economics is way more complicated than Krugman tries to pretend it is as presented here - and to dissect his thinking and pointing this out is not wrong.

For Krugman to suggest we would have little debt and blaming it all on the GOP (as we entered our big economic crises) is just a lie as far as I'm concerned. First off, democrats had no problem going along with the tax cuts. In fact you could just as easy make the claim that it was the democrats fault for not standing united against the cuts! (And democrats had a big role in urging programs that got us in the mess - whether the Medicare drug addition - or the push of increasing home sales to those who couldn't afford them) But as my earlier post clearly laid out - the problem of our debt is way more complicated than Krugman tries to make it out to be. To ignore demographics and to ignore the democrats role in this paints an incomplete and dishonest picture. Now if you want to argue John that demographics isn't a very large part of the mess we are in - then argue that point. But to just dismiss my comments because you are a Krugman diehard fan isn't fair. AND, none of these comments are meant as support for Bush policies in any way - they were as I've said the worst!!
