christie is a big, fat slob. his politics and demeanor are fine for new jersey, but almost nowhere else other than perhaps new york. some reporter should ask him what his ldl cholesterol level is, and we will know a lot about whether he might die pretty soon in office. to me he looks like a walking heart attack waiting to happen. it would not surprise me to find he is a diabetic already and may not know it. i don't think christie should be thinking about running for president anyway.

<Christie is setting himself up for a run in '16> I tend to agree he will be in the mix for '16. His first task is to get re-elected in '14. If he does not run he will be tagged as a quiter, i.e. like Palin was attacked by the media and the liberals. I believe he would be no better than clinton as president. He is a essentially a democrat who ran against the teacher's union. Baggage includes gun control, abortion, muslim judges, tied to obama etc. He has made some improvement in the NJ debt load by hammering borrowing which was in his initial platform. I would enjoy seeing him debate clinton assuming the moderator actually asked tough questions of those two.
