Yup. We've become very very picky- because we've got the whole wide world to choose from. There's no need to watch something mediocre, when we manage to set aside some time.

I think Netflix and it's ilk will spell doom for broadcast and cable TV. I've cancelled mine, and just stream to wireless, internet-connected Roku boxes connected to my TV's. I watch whatever I want, a little later than it's shown on TV.

The current providers know this, and are preparing to charge for internet by volume used (streamed) instead of a fixed monthly charge.
