History as told by independent thinker.... The Arthur Schlesingers, Jr. and Sr., are poster children for what went wrong in the teaching of history to Americans. They were infected with the "Progressive" disease that was and still is simply in the air. Lacking the insights to understand the economic consequences of stupid initiatives, they celebrated the exercise of power and denigrated those who adhered to the limited vision of government we once shared. They were evil and their side maintains prevalence. It's a minority that understands Sarah Palin would probably make a fine chief magistrate had we been able to keep the Constitution.
