Doesn't feel important at the moment, but, assuming you we're looking for an announcement of dividend increases, the annual meeting is the appropriate forum for that. If you wanted new new product announcement, you know how Apple does that... nobody does it at an investor conference. This was a rah rah session, but I was pleasantly surprised by his tone about returning cash to shareholders.

Could be totally wrong, but I suspect Obama will announce some kind of tax holiday for repatriating overseas cash tonight. Why else have the poster child for overseas cash in the box? (Apology for bringing up politics but it fits).

I'm impatient with Apple also... but the Goldman thing was a side show.

He announced there will be no low priced iPhone. That is important information.

I'm also an apple bull, but the combination of dismissive or circuitous answers to legitimate questions, like indicating the exec team doesn't worry about revenue streams, just make me shake my head that I may be staying too long.
We are all small investors with very little insight to the future plans of the company. Just like you are shaking your head, I am pretty sure many others are wondering and questioning every move the company is making these days.

This company is watched so closely that if Apple Inc was a human, I believe every passing of gas would have gone to labs around the world for clinical analysis. But Cook is very calm and collect and since he knows a lot more about the future strategy of his company, he confidently can say the things that he said today.
