yeah, the wrestling community isn't thrilled with this. The IOC is run by Western Euros who don't care much for wrestling, but eastern Europe, Russia, Middle eastern countries and the U.S. all have strong wrestling programs and are quite upset. Especially when you look at some of the "sports" that are in the olympics Synchronized swimming Table tennis Badminton golf Sailing Basketball Football Handball Rugby Volleyball First, some are really questionable as "sports". Badminton? Ping Pong? When is Foosball going to be an olympic sport? Golf, Basketball, football and Rugby are all professional sports that people can compete or watch any time. And wrestling is potentially being replaced by rollerblading and wakeboarding. 2020 is the olympics that JXN would be eligible for.
