remind me, is Medicare something that the government has promised and has been taking money out of our paychecks for?

this is something that liberals don't understand, I can be against medicare and social security as a policy, but if it is force on me by mandatory deductions from my paycheck, the government damn well better follow through on their promise. Otherwise those deductions are pure theft.
