If it WERE flattening at the highest levels in history that would be discouraging enough.

But the article is liberal claptrap. Under Obama spending has SURGED terribly -- if you'll notice the Y-axis scale is not linear, that little pop at the end actually represents a huge number of dollars.

It doesn't matter to you anyway -- you LOVE federal spending. I doubt there is one post out of your thousands that suggests government should REDUCE spending.

The truth is we are spending more this year than last...and we will spend more than this year, next year...even with the sequester. That is an increase to anyone with a functioning brain....which of course excludes you ted.

Well then Obama wouldn't have to ask for higher taxes, now would he?

ObamaCare is going to kick into overdrive starting next year. That alone will make federal spending go back up and to the right.
