Hello all. Let me jump in here and say I like the story on ADPT for the following reasons:

1. Proven track record
2. Market leader
3. On top of new technologies
4. Drive sales volumes will increase. The Soundview guy has it exactly wrong, trouble in the DD biz will lead to increased unit sales, particularly in the enterprise segment where ADPT is strongest. Milton Friedman's elasticity of supply theory teaches us that the smaller the proportion of total cost, the less price elastic the component. The ADPT controllers and controller chips are a small proportion of the total cost and therefore should do well.

Normal demand curves slope downward therefore:
accelerated price declines => increased demand.

Thanks Tom and Greg for your responses. After posting last night I checked S&P and several sources and decided to buy, everything looks terrific, this is a classic case of a stock falling for no good reason. Unfortunately I bought at the open at 41 1/2 :( If the stock continues to slide I'll buy more. Thanks again.
