really not interested in your opinion since you are already on record for saying the repugnuts have already compromised while the dems haven't... good luck with your fantasy world that both side are equally to blame

Republicans DON'T care about the deficit, except as a hammer to beat (D)'s with. Not a word concerning the deficit when Bush was running his two unfunded wars on the credit card and providing an unfunded prescription drug benefit/drug company givaway also on the credit card. All you have to do is look at recent history.

Dick Cheney:
"Reagan proved that deficits don't matter. We won the mid-term elections, this is our due."

When Republicans should have been bending the debt curve down in relatively good economic times, as Clinton did, they shot it up instead. That's the result of believing that tax cuts, which are popular and easy, pay for themselves. Raising taxes is difficult and politically risky, and they won't go there.

<<<Sure, there are some extreme republicans - and too many in my opinion ->>>

How many is too many? It makes a difference if too many equals 25 or 50 % and then I can sort of understand what you are trying to imply but when too many is more than 90% than what you are implying is delusional.
