Brumar is part of the same group that is still yelling at hippies "get a job" or "take a bath." The same group that sees Manson as the prototype hippie sees Hitler as the prototype liberal. They are so brainwashed by there own preposterous lies, propagated in their fear-based wing nut community where Liberty University or Bob Jones trumps U.C. Berkeley or MIT. Having direct knowledge of the "hippie" counterculture here, albeit I was a little young (graduating High School in 1971), the funny part is how they used to and continue to make up the same stupid frames... Like the one about all the hippies spitting on soldiers returning home. The truth is that plenty of vets became hippies and liberals, they can't get that because they are so isolated socially and politically. They have no clue how many soldiers who fought the wars are to the left of center politically; or especially how many are minorities from the "other side of the tracks." They think John McCain and george W. Bush were iconic, and John Kerry a liar about his medals. They still scream that Mai Lai was not murder, and we could have won the war if it weren't for "politics at home." (More bombs???) They don't even accept Ayn Rand's atheism and amorality. They didn't get last year's memo that told Paul Ryan to STFU about his hero, Ayn Rand. So obviously you don't come here for truth, you come to the Evolution forum to illuminate the cult's lies and spin when presented with evidence based facts, and small "t" truths.
