Akerson Interview on Bloomberg -

Reiterated - goal is to control 10mhz in all of populated US.

320,000-350,000 would be a "very good quarter". On track to do that. Seemed to be talking expectations down.

Looking at consumer apps, but 18-24 months away. Perhaps a very small "Family Direct Connect" phone with limited range.

Strong emphasis on increasing distribution channels - retail, indirect etc.

Beta testing data service - packet switched ATM. 40-50kbps. Mainly software expense needed, litte hardware expense.

Sao Palo & Rio turned on 1/98. 750,000 people in Sao Palo waiting for a phone "of any type". Thinks these could be cash flow positive in first twelve months.

Ok
Naturally I'm very glad your on my side
Interesting about companies and pension plans: I assume they can also borrow against them just as the gov borrows like crazy against social insecurity (supposed to be a "pension plan"), and state pensions. Dont know if they borrow against Congressional pensions but my guess would be they dont!!!!
