Seeing the talk about competing facial/retinal scans presents
a few questions. While I may become comfortable with the ATM
machine scanning my face or eyeballs, I wonder how that device
would work in another setting. For example, if I took that
same plastic into Joe's Cafe just how would my waitress
verify my card? Would she roll some Rube Goldberg device
to my table while trailing a power cord behind her across
the floor? It seems there are logistical issues here. The
fixed ATM machine might be very handy in some places but
in many retail venues eyeball/facial scanning seems off-putting somehow. I'd much rather quietly press my finger on a
button than be made a spectacle in a restaurant/bar. Or at
K-Mart for Heaven's Sake.

Further, suppose while at Joe's Cafe I may have had "one
too many". Would the device pick-up that fact in my blood
patterns and clang TILT? Would Joe like his customers so
abused? I think not.

If the answer to these probs is to have two cards, one for
facial and one for fingers, then what's the point??

Just a few random thoughts.

Hi James,

I agree.

Again, this morning has been a nice upward trend in the price action.

I am gratified to see that the gain is steady and persistent and not overly gappy. If this persists, this kind of price action will build a solid base at or above $10 and set the stage for further gains next year.

Basing in the mid-10s: That's my Christmas and New Year wish! Anything more than that is just fine with me too.
