I had purchased RAPT as a short term investment hoping for gains, but I guess I will have to see about that. Given the presence of newer entries especially Lucent, I don't think other companies would be now be interested in purchasing AXNT/RAPT to enter a mkt which has now attracted heavyweights. The market reaction to this deal is downright disheartening. But I must confess the merger with AXNT doesn't excite me as much as it would have if rapt was bought over by a bigger company(i.e at better price). Srivaths
