Ice,

<<<I portion of the industry decided to go with 2K frames and thanks to market awareness by the likes of Carla and great engineering by Thomas et al, Ancor got this (2K) implementation done in time as well.>>>

Great info. Besides thanking you, I want to thank AR also. Without his rumor, we would have never even thought of asking question such as this. Carla & company did a great job. It is much better than sending out fluff news which many of us(myself included) has credited Brocade for getting much more attention. Adding the 2k frame support in MKII is much more important. In some cases, it may mean winning or losing the OEM. Time will tell.

KJ

What are the chances that ar needled the techies on this thread
in order to get technical information for Brocade about Ancor matters
which otherwise would have been murky?

Why has the SI thread for Brocade been totally dormant since
Oct 14th? This firm which is seen as so professional about pr, does not seem to place any value on the SI forums in order to promote
itself.
