Well, Dave, after being laid off from a programming job, I was on unemployment for 2 weeks. It was a total hassle, I had to prove that I'd appled for at least 2 jobs every week, and had to re-apply for unemployment, including ALL the online paperwork, every week. It paid nowhere NEAR what I'd been making working. When I got a job, after 2 weeks, they wanted the money back, because I hadn't been unemployed LONG enough!

So, I'm not without experience. Which I never want to repeat.
