Todd,

I believe the company is now stating that given the Detroit Lab "Good Seal of Approval" rating, the sales force is able to "verify" to potential clients, a marketing claim of significant proportions. Prior to this indepent verification all they had to sell were features. Now they can sell the benefits of those features. Namely cost, time and labor reduction as well as accuracy.

The previous release to this one provided the ammo for the sales force to verify that an independent lab concurs with AccuMed regarding the improved efficencies that their system can provide.

This is notification that they are aggresively pursuing the market given the acceptance (thumbs-up) by Detroit. The consolidation of the two entities (cyto and molecular divisions) and the cross training/education of the sales force in both markets makes for an easier "foot in the door" for the sales team. The statement regarding the $2.0 M savings in operating expenses as a result of this consolidation comes as a surprise. They originally spoke about an operational expense saving of $0.5 M if I am not mistaken. Perhaps they are also including the R/D finalization cost saving figure in there.

The statement about the Sensitre(sp) line having received some large orders is probably due to the accumulation of non-filled orders from last quarter being "pushed" into this quarter. I did state in a previous post (after 3rd Q earnings) that might be the case. Mr. Gombrich kind of alluded to that eventuality in the latest earnings release statement.

The news about Burke comes as a surprise. If I am not mistaken he had sold a "few" shares a month or three ago. Let's hope that they get a dynamic aggressive new V.P. in there. Look at how low the new V.P. will get his options/warrants. He really will have an incentive to perform.

All in all a very uplifting notification. Don't think that heads at ACMI H.Q. weren't down when the stock was breaking new lows. Sounds to me like a "MAJOR" pep rally was given and the whip is cracking for the upcoming new year.

Gombrich to the rescue. I believe the feeling is coming back in my lower extremity. How about you Todd, what do you glean from the recent events?

Frank
