Chrysler International Reports Sales Down Slightly; Latin American
Sales Surge 94 Percent in November

PR Newswire - December 04, 1997 14:27
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Driven by strong sales
results in Venezuela, the Latin America region continues to lead
Chrysler's growth in international markets. Overall, Chrysler International reported sales of 18,890 units for the month, down 1
percent from a year ago total of 19,069.

"We're pleased that Latin America is proving to be a strong market for
us, particularly in light of the difficult economic conditions in many countries around the world," said Edwin H. Brust, General Manager - Latin America, Middle East and Africa Operations. "We have made some significant investments in South America over the past several years that are beginning to reap dividends."

Venezuela was the single largest market for Chrysler outside of North America in November, posting sales of 2,685 vehicles, up 191 percent over year-ago sales of 922 vehicles.

Are you saying that the VLT's in Venezuela are going to make the people poorer or are you saying that they won't be profitable??? You need to clarify your position with this. What exactly is your purpose in this type of "NEWS"...If you are a shareholder please let the world know what your intent is with this reprint.
