You should go shooting. Find a friend with a gun, you have some whether you know it or not, and go shooting. It is fun, relaxing and very challenging. You find that challenging?!!! What is the challenge. Do you have to use your brains like scientists, engineers, mathematicians or software engineers do. The last person I knew and saw on TV who enjoyed shooting using a gun were folks like Osama and Dick Cheney. And Cheney couldn't even shoot straight. People with class find relaxation in creative activities like music, reading, fine arts, cooking, sewing, sports like baseball, basketball etc. Not going out with a gun and shooting to take a life for entertainment even if that life is of a animal.

Other than lack of education which I feel is the number one reason for our violent society, the rest are not real reasons. We don't have a a lack of money, we have plenty of money it is just that the super rich have it all. The Republican's gave it to them. Imagine if Bush had put the 5 soon to be 10 trillion into those stupid wars and tax cuts to the rich into education ane especially pre school. We would be the wonder of the world today. My kids and lots of my friends kids grew up in single family households and they are doing very well, thank you very much. I hope your kids did as well! Gangs thrive becaseu of simple racism, poverty and lack of education. Divorce helps prevent violence not enhance it. << I agree the US is a violent country. Lack of opportunity, lack of education, lack of money, gangs, latchkey kids, single parent households, divorce, all contribute to the decline of Society.
