Did you see the Italian high court has ruled that Amanda Knox must stand trial again? I barely understand the court system in the US let alone in other countries but IMO a person shouldn't be forced to go thru a murder trial twice. I suspect they will find her guilty and create an interesting case for extradition.

I don't understand the motivation behind this...i suspect that they know Knox won't go back for trial...Sollecito however, her boyfriend, I suspect is in real trouble again.

Got a link? This would be a teachable moment for all Americans about the importance of double jeopardy.

Cause right now, if you asked most Americans about it, the first thing they'll think of is Alex Trabec.

Geez ted, are you this lazy?

I barely understand the court system in the US let alone in other countries but IMO a person shouldn't be forced to go thru a murder trial twice. I suspect they will find her guilty and create an interesting case for extradition.

I know it would burn your eyes, but your answer is in the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution, you know, the Constitution you dearly hate....

The US isn't going to send an American citizen to a foreign land when it's a clear case of double jeopardy. Probably be a good idea she doesn't leave the protection of the US if she was thinking about going to your favorite state of Germany or France who don't give a shit about the rule of law.

Then again, Obama just might since the Constitution is his biggest problem....
