and it does not help when our MSM does not tell us the truth.

Hot damn! You and I agree on something.

Which is why we need people like Rachel and MSNBC to explain why we should NOT like it!

Well, almost if you think Maddow is the truth, we will never agree. MSNBC is hiring ex-cabinet members from this admin, it is no longer a news service but a propaganda vehicle.

Gibbs and Axelrod. LMAO at the fact that MSNBC can be considered anything but a faucet for pro-administration policy. Goebbels himself, a master of State propaganda, would be impressed at this arrangement.

The problem with most Americans are that they are dumb. They don't read and keep up with the news, very poor in geography, Forget science and math. If they pick up the newspapers, magazines, go on the Internet and read, then they will not need Maddow or Hannity to shape their opinions.

What you are doing is typical in that you are failing to see the broader picture and instead suggesting that Americans remain dumb and keep listening to Maddow. Ask another American and he/she would say we should keep listening to Limbaugh.

So where do we end up finally with such as approach. similar to the Shia and Sunni situation.

<Seriously, koan, you really believe Americans would have had the ability to understand the political ramifications in Iraq.......those same Americans who when in Europe and are not understood when speaking English, start speaking louder [in English] because they believe that a Spaniard or a Frenchman or an Italian will then understand what they are saying. Those Americans?>>

Tejek, that is my point. We need teachers to teach us what is going on. No, I do not think Americans can figure it out and it does not help when our MSM does not tell us the truth.

The MSM are not the teachers. Most Americans do not pay all that much attention to the news. The true teachers are the teachers.........and too many of them are teaching their kids creationism and fear of Islam. The America public school system stinks. Its one of the worst in the first world. Consequently, the US is raising kids who are apolitical, fearful of gov't and too apathetic to vote. The US is lucky to get a 50% turnout during presidential elections. That's pitiful.

<<And lets not forget, many of your fav pols, the Dems, were also on board for the invasion. There was only small minority of Americans who were against the war after Colin Powell pulled his presentation stunt at the UN. I repeat.......Americans allowed themselves to get duped.>>

The dems were on board because what happened in the Viet Nam vote. The two who voted against teh tonkin Gluf both lost teh next election. Morse and Greuning. The dems saw it as self proservsation. Over 70% of Americans were for the Iraq war. We always like war and the military.

That's a BS excuse. You do the right thing when it comes to war........not what saves your ass.
