I'm going to wait until Wednesday of next week. If I don't receive my proxy via snail mail, then I'll ask Annette to fax it to me and then I'll fax it back the proxy counting firm. Once in the past, I received a proxy just 3 days before the deadline and from another company I had only 1 week and a couple days.

As far as postponing the meeting, I would find that highly unlikely. I think if anything, they would consider extending the proxy return deadline a few days to make sure everyone has a fair chance to vote, unless it's clearly unanamous by those votes that have been returned what the outcome is. Remember, Par and other insiders hold a very large % of the stock, if they all vote yes (which I believe is most likely), the outcome is already in the bag.

BuzzVA;
Annette was very polite with me and told me she would send
out my proxy right away. When I asked why many of us hadn't
received our proxies yet, she indicated the problem must be with
the brokers.
The SEC document DEF14A filed 11/24/1997 indicated that the
proxies were sent out on or about "NOV. 21." It also states that
you must be a stockholder "of record." My broker confirmed that
I am a stockholder "of record," even though I hold them in "street
name."
In an age of "instant" communication, sometimes things just
don't happen.
