I agree with your post. I see this as Apple kowtowing to the government of China for more revenue. Apple apologized not from strength, but from weakness (read China Mobile). Why doesn't Apple apologize to the DOJ instead of fighting the book deal lawsuit? I think Apple lost its way. I will sell if the stock price gets to my sell point. I am very disappointed in TC's decision. Maybe TC will start slowly moving the manufacturing of their products out of China. China is not a friend of the US or Apple.
