The process of the lionization of Reagan starting in the mid-'90s is pretty fascinating, actually. Purposefully creating a myth right in front of our eyes. The left has done that to a certain extent with Clinton (I personally feel like he was pretty mediocre, but that's not how we remember him), but nothing like that.
