Yes, but then the authenticity which the CEO brings to the table is lost. (President Clinton vs Press secretary). Also once again a good impression is subjective, and in as widely followed stock as intel, bound to be controversial.

As far as Intel's public image goes, Johns post implies that Intel spends a lot of resources in maintaining its image. And has succeeded to a large extent. Witnes the opinions of Intel's business (which is what really matters) expressed on this thread.

Also there aren't too many analysts who speak badly of Intel. Just wether Intel can or cannot meet their next Q estimates, and some opinions on the overall industry.
