Clinton, I know what you mean. Todays action in Intel was not too encouraging, neither were the other techs. I am not sure what is going on. Every day it is a different story. Let's see if you get an answer from Mr. Hull. Intel has all this good stuff coming up and Dell is going evtl. completely to PII. Competition is getting fierce out there and Asia of course does not help. Analysts are beating this cause to death. Europe is supposed to take up the slack. I still think we will get a rally to new highs and the techs should participate. Look at CPQ. Mr.Pfeiffer was bubbling over with confidence and that stock is not doing much either. Good talk alone will not keep a stock up for long. It helps but when the analysts go sour on techs, profit takers will come in. I keep telling myself that Intel is still more than a double since last Oct/Nov. and might do the same this year. It has until Oct.98 to double again. All those transitions are hurting and the lower priced PCs are not helping either. Cpq is getting more heavily involved with AMD, but Pfeiffer had praise for Intel. So, maybe they know more than we do. All we can do is wait and see. Let's look at it again tomorrow. Intel tried to come back today but went down with the NAZ or maybe the NAZ went down because of Intel. But then there was the news out that M.Dell sold a big chunk of stock. I think that's when the selling in the techs started.
