Kerm / Berkley

Just saw the results of the new Red River horizontal completion. 4,200 b/d of 42 degree oil, with no water! I can't help but think how far things have come in the last, what, 20 years? There was a time when 200 b/d with 50% water was a pretty good well for Saskatchewan. (Of course, those were cheap wells to drill - bet Berkley is dropping $1.5 mil or better on some of these deep horizontal plays). Good reminder of what the upside can be, just as Upton has made it as clear as day how risky the play is.
