I've owned anen for quite some time but off and on.

I like the management - they've been very supportive of the stock and its price.
They were quick to move their standard parts manufacturing to China.

This gave them the lowest cost and they applied that to buying back stock whenever it got ridiculously cheap.

They did it so well - it quit getting cheap.

I think they like their independence.

What is not known to me is what impact sequester has on their defense business - they say not much.If not new planes then retrofits and upgrades will support them.

The space business is just a cool division and as long as there are satellites going up they will do OK.IMO

I'd be surprised if they embraced the buy out.

They didn't apply all of their earnings to be incontrol of their stock so a venture capital fund could buy up their stable earnings flows.

That being said Buffet bought Heinz and GE bought Lufkin Ind.

So there is a lot of that going on.

If they see rough revenue in defense or space going out long term they'll embrace it.

Just my gut

Neat company that is for sure.
