OT?

Maybe a new $800 Mac mini. Apple sales guy recommends $1300 iMac instead.
As a value investor, I still don't understand people buying Apple products. You can get the same functionality for half price in Windows land.

I got iPad as bonus from work and promptly sold it. I'd rather have cash.

As far as multiple monitors, you can actually do a quad monitor setup via a laptop these days if you so desire. I use the following for a backup system.... It does require that you purchase a Thinkpad with Nvidia Optimus graphics and a dock... You can also do triple monitors (including the laptop) without a dock...

    Best regards,

OT: Bought the Apple iMac 27" couple weeks ago for about $2300, including One-to-One training and extended warranty. Am liking the features, screen, speed. I hope the Apple instructors will help me hone my surfing, searching, and filing skills.

I've heard several people say AAPL was the best investment they made -- or never made. I hadn't heard that those first computers though might have been even better investments.
