Perhaps the judge will creatively sentence him to run every Marathon, for the rest of his life, on a platform truck, in a jail cage while running on a rat wheel!

SP

This has been a long week. The harsh paradox of great joy and great tragedy. I feel proud to be from Boston and also humbled.....this was personal. I think people will have a renewed appreciation for what law enforcement go through in doing their jobs....they were tough, relentless, patient, disciplined, opportunistic, honest, and showed great courage.

One more beer and then crash...g'nite

Pal, I completley agree with you. I'm feeling all sorts of feelings. Mostly relief in this moment. Deep sorrow and relief at the same time for the victims and my beloved Boston and its people---and also for every world citizen whose trust and peace of mind has been shaken, yet again....

And also profound sorrow for this young man, this kid, really, who somehow was corrupted into committing this kind of large-scale horror.......

You're a good and courageous man who speaks his truth----it helps the rest of us do the same....

Y'all will disagree with me, but I don't want him executed.

Don't think so

That would be your local associates

Probably several here are of the opinion that capital punishment should not be an artifact of a civilized country and maybe someday we will be one

...and not to change the subject, did they ever find out what the death count was at the much larger terrorism event, of profit driven greed, in West, Texas

news.yahoo.com

It appears that information is of no interest as we contemplate the events of severe delinquency in Boston
