Moving averages are used to help spot trend reversals. A move Up thru
a MA is bullish and vice versa. I use 40 day MA because there are
about 20 market days per month. The difference between 40 and 50 day
MAs is probably small. I also track 10 day, 100 day and 200 day MAs.
10 day MA is short term (for day trading?), 40 and 100 day MAs are
intermediate term, and 200 day MA for long term. Basic TA combined
with fundamentals works for me!

Bill, << SGI stock movement >>

Moving up with no apparent cause. Ah, is there finally a CEO
favored by wallstreet? Don't believe it's a 'dead cat bounce'. The
cat has had plenty of time since the fall. How much do you think
the right pick could bring to the stock? Another 3 points?? Just
chatter as we wait....wait........and wait.
