You are probably correct. Let us watch the next week or so of action,
however. Eventually this downside move should experience exhaustion.
It may not occur logically as you suggest. As you and I well know this
market is frequently very illogical.

Pravin , if finding the right time to buy was that easy ...
i.e. waiting for good earnings , it would simplify things .
However most of us here are aware of the potential earnings of AMD ,
and anticipation of good earnings will drive the stock ahead of the earnings release . Very often when good earnings are released there is a correction because of those investors now selling who anticipated the good news ,
