Secular society makes moral judgments all the time and they do keep being changed ,modified & refined all the time. Why do you keep posting this jibberish, you have not ever heard of courts of law, common law the judiciary ? Right & wrong is and always has been relative, any looking back just decades let alone centuries informs you of this within constantly evolving cultural frameworks. Every human society that i know of including ourselves maintains standing armed forces. This is where young people barely of an age of maturity are taken into intense training & indoctrination to be weaponized killers when need arises , unquestioningly. It can be looked upon as being peace keepers too,some of the most moral human beings have ever met were military & some of the worst facist monsters too. (Ted Bundy is a wuss by comparison) So we have millions of young people all over the world , depending on their nationality, race, cultural orientation, & birth being taught to be killers every day you breath your fanatsy air. Whos right & whos wrong, were those killlings by the 100's of 1000s really justified to protect your liberty? Do you ever contemplate these realities of common practicing of militarized death still in the world? As for Nietzsche's might makes right statement he was absolutely spot on , your philosophers are living in pretend dream worlds posing utopian fantasies that dont exist. Its a jungle out there, truely so try lightening up on the powdered sugar in your diet & get real ...love more hate less? Be one with God? You have my blessing my son.

“the real issue is whether atheism can provide a justification for morality” That has never been an issue. It has never been debatable! Religious and non-religious people throughout history have always created moral structures based on their human Nature and their group customs and social mores. All morality is self interest--and of course rational people understand more and more that all tribes and groups need to be considered when cooperating to social goals and communal existence for peace and safety. Pretending there is something to debate is just more Fundy nonsense. Your claim (that you only act good (when or if you do) because you fear being tortured by a “loving” god, and that absent such a god you would have no reason or rational basis to be good or moral)...well that is just such bloody nonsense, isn't it? And the fact that it is asinine and self revealing does not justify it outside your own circle of superstition.
